Hello

It's a Sunday evening after myself and Celine have watched a Formula 1 race. We recently started watching the Netflix documentary "Drive to Survive" about drivers in Formula 1. It is fantastic. So much so that Celine has now taken up watching the sport. So that's nice to enjoy together.

We have just come home from spending a night at friends house. We went there to spend time in an escape room/activity room sort of place. Think of "The Crystal Maze" (for people who watched that British show). For people who don't know what that is, I pity you. It was a lot of fun. Then onto watching The Batman. Loved it. Can't say a bad thing about it. So I won't.

So we had to rush back so we could watch the F1. Then I had to come up to start this blog. I also have to write some more on a recently started novel on Pax Alpha. That would be the historical fantasy, Lord of the Rings at the end of the Roman Empire style story I wrote a pilot for. I am committing to writing 100 words every day. That will mean I should have one chapter done in 2 months at most. I will find it fun to actually organize chapter titles too.

Chapter 1 is about the declared Hero of Rome - Invictus - who enters the amphitheater sands to fight five recently captured barbarians. I like the idea of jumping right into the middle of action. So that chapter will detail that moment.

Later tonight I have to write a resume for a script reader position I hope to apply for. That would be a nice little extra money to receive. Plus I really should read more screenplays.

For tonight, I would like to do those bits of work and then get to watching some shows me and Celine still need to watch. Snowpiercer, Drive to Survive. Probably something else I'm forgetting.

It's been a very busy time recently. Next week, we book the hotel for our wedding. That'll be a 6 hour plus drive in total for Saturday.

So this blog is really just a to do list for me. During the week I have:

Monday - Friday = Day job: 9am - 5pm.

Monday = Call with Joey Tuccio from Roadmap Writers.

Tuesday = Notes to share with friend on feature.

Wednesday = Tyrants In Training podcast recording

Thursday = Deadline to finish Biopic short.

Friday = Recording episode as guest on That Fking Show podcast.

Plus, as mentioned, there's daily 100 words added to novel.

And I will probably add something else to my list of activities. I'm dreading finding time for it all plus time to spend time for friends and family but I am also optimistic about the to do list. I like the idea of getting into a routine of it all. I'm not really a believer in the idea that I would crash and burn creatively.

I say that as I write this blog which is not exactly the most creative blog! My apologies.

It reminds me of when me and Celine wrote Christmas books for each other. Books that would be full of different features. A choose your own adventure game, crosswords, puzzles, whatever you could think of. I really liked my effort in it. I had a fantastic choose your own adventure zombie story. I did have one page which was just a list of "PLACES WE NEED TO VISIT" and then a list of countries and cities we could go. I mean...hardly amazing is it.

And for the record no, I don't think we have visited most of those places. No real plans to either.

So yes, this is my blog. It's not quite as long as I would have liked so with that said

Here is a list of THINGS TO WRITE ABOUT:

Cars

Dinosaurs

Robots

Space

Rainbows

Archery and all archery related apparel

Women and archery related women

Jazz

Chicago

And many more!

Thanks for reading

Busy Kevin
